I'm Kristin, a daughter, a sister, a best friend, a dancer, a student, and much more.
I live for many reasons and one is dance. Dance has been a huge part of my life ever since I was a little girl. I went to dance class once a week and enjoyed every second of it. As I got older I started attending dance classes more often, until I got to the point where I am now. I go to dance class everyday except for Sunday's. In one week I dance for about 20 hours. My normal schedule for the day is wake-up, go to school, grab a snack, run to dance, then go home and go to bed. I love what I do and I don't regret any moment of it.

My greatest inspiration in my life would be my mom, Beth. She has always been there for me when I needed her, right there by my side. A truly amazing mom to me, but a sister, a friend, a daughter, a wife, a pastor, and a dance teacher to everyone else. She always knows when I need her or when she should be out in the audience of the theater cheering me on while I am onstage dancing my heart out. She is who I aspire to be.
My mom is a dance teacher at Ginny's Danceworks and she is who got me involved in dancing to begin with. Although she took dance during all her childhood years she was not a dance teacher when I began dancing. One day, my dance teacher asked if she knew how to dance and if she would like to assist her in a class. So my mom did thinking she would just teach this one class and now she is a company teacher at Ginny's Danceworks. She loves the art of dance and uses her skills to pay for my classes.
My wonderful mom is also a pastor at Calvary United Methodist Church in Ann Arbor. She has been moved around to many churches and she loves all of them. Her presence in any room just brightens the atmosphere.
Her loving ways, bright smiles, and open arms make me love my mom even more everyday.

As an aspiring missionary, I would love to travel the world and help others in need along the way while spreading the word of God. My dream is to go to Africa and adopt two children from there. Before any of this happens, I want to attend Ohio Northern University where I would major in Counseling and Mission Work. Although dance is a huge part of my life now, due to past injuries, dance will most likely not be part of my life as an adult. I love helping others and it is what I want to do as an adult.
